Comments about the web site: WOW! I cant believe how much work you've put
into this! This was certainly more interesting than Friday night TV. Some of the
dates in the geaneology were off by a day...I don't know if it's a lot of work
to fix them though. My DOB 5/19/64, wedding 6/3/89, Ellory 3/1/95, Trevor
3/25/91. How does Jeff rate being the only one thats right?! I also didn't know
Aunt Gail's name is June. It's amazing that I just learned more about my family
in a 1/2 hour of exploring than I knew in 33 years. Any way, this is
incredible...I'll definately be back to look around some more. (Now I have to go
to sleep!) Hockey in the morning. Good night. Love, Debbie

How I found your page: Search for Daugherty family
Comments about the web site: Hi, My great grandmother Adda Timmons MOSS
collected information on her DAUGHERTY relations in the 1890's I was searching
for a relative also doing research on that line but don't think we are related.
What I know is a Charles or Benjamin DAUGHERTY married a Mary "Polly" WARNER
(born 12 May 1750 in MD) and they lived and raised a family in Forest PA. Mary
probably died soon after a baptism in the RC church dated Sep 1821. Among her
children were Charles, George who married Sarah Dulin(?) and Absolum. There were
several others. My line of this family moved on to OH and then into MO. Adda's
mother was Mary Dimmis Daugherty who married Thomas Foster Timmons in 1858
Madison Co OH. Mary was d/o William D. DAUGHERTY and Mary Milvina BIGELOW who
also married in Madison Co OH. If any of these names ring a bell, please contact
me as I have a rather large file based on Adda's information. Thanks, Marguerite

Comments about the web site: This is wonderful! Thank you for
giving names to the leaves on a branch from this very large family tree. I'm
Looking for my mothers side of the tree of Dougherty. Most of the family came
from Minnisota. My Great Grandfather was ( Joseph?) Dougherty. He was married to
Rose (Burnell?). They lived for sometime in Browns Valley, MN. and had four
children Lawrence, William (Red), Al? and Marie. Lawrence Dougherty married
Verna Jevne and had two children Lawrence (Larry or Doc) and Patricia Marie
Dougherty(my mother).William (Red)Dougherty was a musician and played in a band
and I believe he owned the Parker House in Mendoda, MN. William had a son name
William Jr.(Billy)and Robert(Bobby). As for the third son were not sure if his
name was Al. Marie Dougherty married a man named Medbery and had a son. My Uncle
and mothers brother Lawrence(Larry Doc)Dougherty lived most his life in and
around St. Paul,MN. we think he had some children yet never married until late
in life. My mother Patricia Marie Dougherty married Gordon Keith Truesdell
approx. 1947 in St. Paul,Mn., they had four children Scott, Gordon(Kit), Terri
and Bruce. If you or anyone knows any info. on family please let me know. Thank
you and take care,TERRI

How I found your page: looked for Daugherty's
Comments about the web site: I am trying to find someone who shares a
common anscestry with me. My ancestor was Corneius Daugherty or Doherty. Who was
one of the first white men to go from Va. to settle with the Indians in the
Cherokee town of Tugaloo in the early 1700's. He took an Indian wife which I
have always heard was the daughter of Chief Moytoy. Sarah Daugherty his g-grandaughter
married Silas Palmour in Dawsonville, Ga. Sharon

How I found your page: found coat of arms then searched for Doherty
Comments about the web site: I was so surprised to stumble upon this web
site. I can now spend some time to search out about my ancestors as my parents
have died. I have lots of relatives in Belfast and was very interested to see
that a re union is planned for July 2000. This has gioven me a lot of comfort as
I can aim at trying to overcome my fear of planes and maybe make it for the big
occasion.. Great web site. Thanks for the connection.

Comments about the web site: This is really great! I didn't know how many
of us there were. My family is from Vicksburg, MS. My dad (Karl L.) is one of
eleven children. His parents are Carmen and Charles Dougherty. My grandfather is
now deceased and I know little of my family's roots. I thought the internet
might be a good place to start. Also, your connection with Biloxi and the Air
Force was too unique to pass up. My husband and I both grew up in MS and
graduated from MS College. My dad and all his brothers are prior military and
now my husband is too. Unfortunately, we are Army fans. Oh, and Army beat Navy
this year!!!!! Go Army!!!!
